Q:1How do I access CrossRoads Driver Portal?
A:1

Here is a step-by-step guide to accessing the CrossRoads Driver Portal (http://crossroads.schneider.com).  Scroll down until you find the category you fall into.

If you are a new applicant:
As a new applicant, you go through the Taleo process.  When your application record gets to the Enterprise Business Suite (EBS), you become a candidate and will be "provisioned" (given access) to the Oracle Learning Management (OLM) system and CrossRoads.  To log into OLM, you will enter the following information:

  • Your user ID (the personal email address you entered into the application system)
  • Your password (the first initial of your first name + the first initial of your last name + t + the first five digits of your six-digit candidate EBS ID).  You will get your six-digit candidate EBS ID in your training class.  Here's an example: Your name is Pat Smith.  Your candidate EBS ID is 123456.  Your password would be pst12345.  Use your proper name - not your nickname - and do not capitalize the letters.
This gives you access to the student tab of the CrossRoads Driver Portal (http://crossroads.schneider.com) and to other systems you will need as a candidate.

When you become a new hire:
You will receive a new driver ID (your "driver number").  To ensure your security, your user ID will change from your email address to your driver number.  After your information goes into the system, you then have access to all the systems you need for your work - usually the day after your information has been submitted.  Your password can remain the same, but the trainers will work with you to log in, change your password and set your challenge questions (questions to which only you will know the answer and will allow you to reset your password if you forget it).  That will enable you to change your password by yourself in the future.

If you are a rehired driver:
If you are rehired within six months, you will be considered a candidate and will need to go through the "provisioning" process again.  Here's how you will access the CrossRoads Driver Portal:

  • Your user ID (the personal email address you used to re-apply to Schneider)
  • Your password (the first initial of your first name and the first initial of your last name + t + the first five digits of your EBS number).  For example, if you are Pat Smith and your EBS number is 123456, your password would be pst12345.  Use your proper name - not your nickname - and do not capitalize the letters.

Once you are actually rehired, your personal email user ID changes to the driver number you had when you previously worked for Schneider.  You should change your password to something you will remember.  You should also set up your challenge questions so you can reset your own password going forward.

If you are a Company Driver who has accessed CrossRoads before:
Go to http://crossroads.schneider.com

  • Click the Driver Login tab.
  • Enter your driver number.
  • Enter your password.  You're in!
  • If you've forgotten your password, you may recover a working password in two ways:
    • Click on the "Forgot Password" link.  You will be asked to answer the challenge questions you had set up for your account.  If the challenge questions are answered successfully, you will be able to reset your password.
  • If you can't reset your password as directed above, call the CrossRoads Driver Portal Support Desk at 1-800-558-7010, press 2 for Crossroads Support, then press 2.  A Support representative will reset your password for you.  However, please make every effort to reset your own password as outlined above.

Click the Sign In button and click on the tab or link to the information you want in the Company Driver Portal.

If you are a new hire or existing company driver, but have not logged into CrossRoads before:
You will need to reset your password and set your challenge questions.  Here's how:

  • Go to http://crossroads.schneider.com
  • Your user ID is your driver number
  • Call the CrossRoads Support Desk at 1-800-558-7010, then press 2 for Crossroads Support, then press 2 to get your six-digit EBS number.
  • Your password (the first initial of your first name and the first initial of your last name + t + the first five digits of your EBS number).  For example, if you are Pat Smith and your EBS number is 123456, your password would be pst12345.  Use your proper name - not your nickname - and do not capitalize the letters.

Once you are in, you will need to complete your account setup.  This setup process includes the following:

  1. Changing your initial password to one that you will use going forward.  Make sure it is something you can easily remember!
  2. Establish three challenge questions/answers that you may use to recover your password should you forget it.  These are questions to which only you will know the answer.
  3. Following the account setup, you will be required to login to CrossRoads again, this time using your newly-created password.
  4. After login, you will be required to accept the terms and conditions of using the CrossRoads site.  Once you have accepted these terms and conditions, you will arrive on your CrossRoads Driver Portal home page.
  5. If you have login issues after you complete this setup, follow the instructions for drivers who have accessed CrossRoads before (above).

Click the Sign In button and click on the tab or link to the information you want in the Company Driver Portal.
